“Ark of Taste” Dinner - a rare dining experience

Slow Food Carolina Piedmont Region is holding a epicurean evening to remember.  The “Ark of Taste” is a program created by Slow Food to preserve food items that are important but disappearing from today’s  culinary and agricultural practices.  In this evening, 10 amazing local chefs and a gifted chocolatier will create a 10 course dinner of rare and endangered foods produced by area growers.  Be sure to join us for this very special event, which is serving as a fundraising activity for two fledgling Farmers’ Markets:  Davidson and Denver.  The event will be held rain or shine at The Beaver Dam Historic House in Davidson, NC.   A silent auction will be held - bring your checkbook!

Tickets are $100 per person, cancellations after May 6 will not be refunded.  Click here to download a reservation request: 2009_ark_of_taste_dinner_tix_form

If you are interested in volunteering, please email Cassie at cparsons2246@bellsouth.net.

This event will serve as our Spring Farm Dinner, given our deep involvement in planning and organizing it.
